Respiratory Therapist Consultant

Job Description:

A leading provider of medical gases and homecare services specialises in respiratory diseases and sleep diagnostics, with a strong reputation for CPAP therapy.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer care and managing sleep apnea treatments for patients. This position is suitable for a proactive individual who is passionate about providing excellent service in obstructive sleep apnea management.

As a Respiratory Therapist Consultant, you will collaborate closely with physicians to create tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial point of contact for new and existing clients
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including titration studies, for patients experiencing sleep-disordered breathing
  • Offer guidance on CPAP equipment, setup and ongoing service requirements
  • Provide follow-up appointments and ongoing support for patients
  • Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, evaluation procedures and available treatment options

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail, healthcare or sales environments
  • Exceptional communication skills
