Sleep Study Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Study Specialist to perform sleep studies and provide patient care in our Perth-based Sleep Laboratories.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team as casual Sleep Study Specialists and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
- Set up patients for home-based sleep studies in our outpatient clinics.
- Perform set up for in-lab sleep study patients including the application of electrodes and sensors to the patient.
- Interact with patients to explain testing and treatment procedures and ensure all relevant patient data is recorded accurately and comprehensively.
- Overnight monitoring of signals and ensuring the well-being of the patients.
- Scoring and analysis of polysomnographs, helping prepare provisional reports for our sleep physicians.
- Provide training and support for other sleep technologists.
A degree in health sciences (or related field) is required for this role. Paid, in-house training will be provided for previous experience as a Sleep Scientist or Sleep Technologist is not necessary.
Requirements- Proficiency in performing sleep studies and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Our sleep labs operate seven nights a week; with outpatient evening shifts Monday to Friday creating significant flexibility and availability of shifts for the successful candidate(s).
