About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Mechanic to join our team at InfraBuild Wire in Newcastle. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Salary: $43.98 - $49.37 per hour (plus $21.45 tool allowance)

Job Description
  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment, including machinery and mechanical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with equipment and develop solutions to resolve problems
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operation of production processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Trade is essential
  • Dogging and Forklift ticket desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Ideal background in industrial manufacturing and experience with gearbox and workshop rebuilds highly regarded
