Event Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Host City and Stakeholder Relations Coordinator for the 2026 edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, including government bodies and the Football Family.
  • Manage meeting schedules, create key documents, and maintain records of milestones.
  • Support event logistics, including guest list management and VIP/VVIP protocol materials.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership, assist with meetings, presentations, and manage internal systems.
  • Assist with daily team tasks, meetings, and ensure timely completion of follow-ups.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in event coordination, project management, stakeholder management, sports administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point); familiarity with event management software is a bonus.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.
