Job Summary:

Australian Citizens residing in Australia only respond. Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1.

This is a key opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow software engineer to develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, and provide technical expertise in ServiceNow that meet business needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop ServiceNow applications and integrations using best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support in ServiceNow.
  • Monitor system health and address issues proactively to minimize downtime.
Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Hold a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and hold one or more ServiceNow Mainline Certifications at an Implementation Specialist level in IT Service Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Service Mapping, Customer Service Management, or Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft development practices, platforms, and technologies (Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Favorable Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications or industry recognized certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • Industry recognized ServiceNow certification, such as CSA, CIS-ITSM, or CAD.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks like ITIL and TOGAF.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale ICT transformation projects in a Commonwealth Government setting.
