Logistics Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and outcomes-focused Logistics Officer to join our team at Fleet Logistics Support Element Cairns.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritise work tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage governance duties on logistics inventory management activities in accordance with the Electronic Supply Chain Manual.
- Coordinate logistics inventory management through the use of information management systems and responding to inventory requests.
- Compose responses to correspondence, briefs and reports on logistics inventory management activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge to provide advice on logistics inventory management to stakeholders.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in teamwork and group activities.
- Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member.
- Recommend solutions to issues impacting on the achievement of desired outcomes.
- Interpret and comply with logistics legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Allocate work, resources and tasks and set work area priorities to meet work area outcomes.
About Our Team:
- FLSE-Cairns provides logistic support, Service Funds accounting and Food Services to Cairns Based Fleet Units (CBFUs), Cairns Naval Resident Units (NRUs), visiting MWV, MFU and ships from foreign navies.
- We are an integrated, multi-disciplinary team of Defence members, civilians and contractors who work together to provide support to Cairns based platforms, visiting vessels and the Cairns region.
