Early Childhood Education Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to take on the role of Assistant Director/2IC.

The successful candidate will provide guidance and direction to educators, support them in implementing effective educational programs, lead and develop valuable educational initiatives, ensure all learning is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, and promote respectful communication and behaviours within the service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guiding educators to enhance practices and programs
  • Supporting educators to implement the planning cycle effectively
  • Leading and developing educational initiatives
  • Ensuring learning is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Promoting respectful communication and behaviours

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Relevant experience in a similar role advantageous
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Current approved First Aid Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
