Leadership Development Expert

The Catholic Diocese seeks a seasoned Leadership Development Expert to drive the cultivation, development, and sustainment of high-quality educational leadership. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing leadership capabilities across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and mentor emerging leaders, promoting reflective practice for ongoing professional growth and development.
  • Design and implement tailored professional learning pathways aligned to industry standards, supporting leadership development from novice to executive levels.
  • Foster structured induction and ongoing leadership development programs for school-based leaders.
  • Evaluate leadership development by tracking growth, effectiveness, and impact of school leaders, assessing program outcomes and leadership capacity needs.
  • Support delivery and monitoring of the System Professional Learning Strategy to promote continuous growth and system-wide improvement.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience leading Middle Leader development in a school environment.
  • Experience leading professional learning and development initiatives.
  • Able to design and implement differentiated professional learning pathways.
  • Facilitate structured induction and ongoing development programs for educational leaders.
  • Develop meaningful metrics to track leadership growth and program effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, extensive experience at a Principal/Assistant Principal leadership level, and a strong understanding of Catholic education mission, values, and leadership expectations.
