We are a leading global real estate development company seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Logistics Portfolio Manager - Asset Optimization. Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with opportunities for growth and development.

About the Role

This position will report to the Vice President of Asset Management and Investment, responsible for formulating and executing portfolio management strategies for a real estate portfolio in logistics asset classes in Australia. You will work closely with the Vice President to drive sustainable and consistent returns to stakeholders through effective marketing, leasing, property, and asset management plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in positioning assets to enhance cash flow and asset value
  • Deliver sustainable and consistent returns to stakeholders by driving portfolio performance through effective marketing, leasing, property, and asset management plans
  • Review monthly property budgets and forecasts, as well as annual budget preparation and review
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Development Management team to ensure seamless delivery of new developments
  • Oversee external Property and Facility Management teams to ensure compliance with regulations and proper maintenance of assets
  • Work with internal and external legal teams on property-related matters
  • Collaborate with the portfolio analyst team in preparing asset plans and reporting requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 10 years' experience in investment and asset management in the real estate industry, with knowledge of logistics real estate in Australia
  • Resourceful, analytical mind, and proficiency in financial modeling, including Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
