Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Brief Intervention Clinician to join our team. As a Brief Intervention Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering contemporary level of profession-specific clinical services, assessment, and treatment to young people.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Brief Intervention Models of Care and be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, intervention, or group work as required. You will also be responsible for providing Brief Interventions to young people on the waitlist for Private Providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver contemporary level of profession-specific clinical services assessment, clinical brief intervention treatment, and evaluation
  • Participate as a member of the mental health team in providing comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, intervention, or group work as required
  • Provide Brief Interventions to young people on the waitlist for Private Providers
  • Complete Intake Assessments as required
Requirements
  • Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility
  • Demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a comprehensive understanding within the continuum of care
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilizing comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team
