Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for delivering contemporary level of profession-specific clinical services, assessment, and intervention to young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Brief Interventions to young people, utilizing a range of evidence-based models of care.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, and intervention as required.
  • Complete Intake Assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the mental health team.
  • Work collaboratively with private providers to ensure seamless care coordination and handover.
  • Contribute to the professional development of self and others through education, professional networking, and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility.
  • Demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice within the continuum of care.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team, utilizing comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the professional development of self and others.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive level of profession-specific knowledge, expertise, and skill in Brief Intervention Models of Care.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
