Job Opportunity for Senior Security Architect

About the Role

This is an ideal position for a highly skilled and experienced security architect who thrives in complex environments, communicates effectively, and excels at collaborating with teams to solve challenging problems.

  • The successful candidate will define and govern security architectures across major tech initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with established security policies, principles, and risk frameworks.
  • Lead security quality assurance activities and support operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and business teams to embed appropriate security controls.
  • Evaluate new security technologies and contribute to shaping capability roadmaps.
  • Create reusable frameworks and patterns to simplify future projects.
  • Translate technical risk into business context, enabling informed and confident decision-making.
  • Support the creation and governance of enterprise security strategies and standards.
  • Nurture relationships across the tech industry to stay ahead of emerging threats and opportunities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex security architecture and solutioning.
  • Expertise in security requirements, control definition, and risk assessment.
  • Clear and concise communication skills - able to translate technical ideas into business value.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with Service-Oriented and RESTful architecture design.
  • Experience with secure cloud-based solutions.
  • Exposure to AI/ML security concepts, including generative and agentic AI.
Preferred Certifications
  • Security/Risk: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SABSA
  • Cloud: CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement security architectures that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security controls.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies to enhance the organization's capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security plans and strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends to ensure the organization remains proactive.
