Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Chief Information Security Architect to support our mission of leveraging technology for social justice. This part-time, permanent role is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

This exciting opportunity will see you lead our information security program for customers and partners, overseeing the design, configuration, and implementation of security standards for our Managed Services offerings, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.

You will conduct security assessments and support customers during external audits, develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures organization-wide, stay updated on security trends, technologies, and best practices, and demonstrate a strong desire to learn, innovate, and improve continuously.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in information security, with knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ASD's Essential 8, ISO 27001/2, NIST, and RFFR.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
