Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer

FrankieOne is seeking a seasoned information security professional to spearhead the organization's security strategy and posture. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the integrity and security of our platform, supporting infrastructure, and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor cybersecurity systems and tools, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Lead reviews and ensure compliance with financial and privacy regulations, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Australian data privacy standards.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and breaches, conducting forensic investigations and providing recommendations for mitigation and prevention.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Product, Engineering, and others, to integrate security into all business processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on security-related matters, offering a commercial and pragmatic perspective when reviewing security and product decisions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high standards of security are maintained through contracts and SLAs.
  • Communicate security status and risks to senior management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in information security management, preferably in the banking/finance or identity verification industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian cybersecurity regulations and financial industry standards.
  • Experience with risk management, incident response, and forensic investigations.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a security team.
  • Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and trends.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
