Our large Federal Government client is seeking a Project Director to lead a small team in delivering the agency's Tuggeranong Precinct Project and other capital works projects. Key responsibilities include:

Key Duties:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate project plans and schedules in accordance with the agency's project management framework.
  • Collaborate with staff and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee project design, governance arrangements, and operational integration within the Caroline Chisholm Centre.

The successful candidate will have:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

Candidate Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management in large-scale projects for government or similar organisations.
  • Ability to contribute to the agency's continuous improvement by improving systems, processes, and tools related to project management and reporting.
  • Ability to deliver the ICT and design elements requested in accordance with the RFQ.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Experience tracking a complex ICT project and providing support to clear blocking issues.
  • Ability to produce talking points, project documentation, and undertake research and issue resolution independently.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in large-scale projects for government.
