Key Responsibilities:
  • Guiding the future direction of business operations, including service delivery.
  • Identifying and analyzing risks, developing associated risk management plans, and undertaking regular risk reviews for all projects, in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
  • Working with SLA staff, consultant teams, and internal and external stakeholders to drive projects from inception, through design approval, and to project construction and completion.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated strong experience in project management and high-level advice and support of complex land development projects.
  • Understanding of public service values covering ethical standards, probity, compliance, and a demonstrated self-awareness to ongoing integration of workplace respect, equity, and diversity work practices.
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent liaison and communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems.

This is a great opportunity to work with a State Government Department and join a supportive team. The successful candidate will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to extend.
