Job Overview

Infinite Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our team in delivering large government projects with a strong background in ICT and design. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractor performance, focusing on stakeholder requirements, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans and schedules in accordance with our project management framework and consider project interdependencies.
  2. Oversee project design, governance arrangements, and operational integration.
  3. Develop detailed scopes for relocating basement backbone switches and building a new infrastructure LAN.
  4. Develop a detailed scope for the internal design of our ICT network.
  5. Audit physical cabling to ensure all floor distribution switches have dual connections.
  6. Coordinate condition assessments, design, and replacement of ICT backbone network equipment.
  7. Coordinate the inclusion of a new AV solution on our existing ICT network.
  8. Coordinate outsourced service provider services in support of fit-out activities.
  9. Engage stakeholders and present ICT requirements, findings, and final designs.
  10. Report on project objectives and outputs for presentation to the executive.
  11. Oversee project reporting and review written material including business cases, plans, reports, and corporate documentation.
  12. Plan, manage, and monitor financial budgets and oversee contract management.
  13. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and benefits.
  14. Analyse project performance and oversee quality management.
  15. Drive innovation and lead change in accordance with our strategic direction.
  16. Engage and manage key stakeholder relationships.
Requirements

Parliamentary TV, ICON racks, Cyber LAN, Access Layer Passive Infrastructure, Ministerial Communications Network, Security systems, Telstra NTU, Wide Area Network, Backbone Passive Infrastructure, Access Layer Active infrastructure

Working Arrangements
