Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to site-wide hazardous area compliance reviews and supporting the design and delivery of end-of-life electrical system upgrades.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site-wide hazardous area compliance reviews to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to design and deliver end-of-life electrical system upgrades that meet technical, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate on electrical protection assessments and arc flash studies to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver capital projects such as PCS server upgrades, coal unloading system improvements, and I/O enhancements to improve electrical reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in modernising legacy systems to strengthen electrical infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
  • Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
  • Proven track record of working on complex infrastructure projects and delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical engineering.
