Electro Technical Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to maintain electrical and electronic equipment on board our vessels.

About the Position
  • Ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems, performing routine checks and maintenance tasks.
  • Adopt safe working practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support broader maintenance activities beyond electrical systems.
  • Conduct first-level maintenance of critical systems including communications, radio, and navigation equipment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 12 months relevant experience in the maritime industry is required.
  • Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) and Work Safely at Heights Certification are highly desirable.
  • Eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) is essential.
