Electrical Systems Specialist

A Graduate Electrical Engineer plays a pivotal part in the development of electrical systems for sustainable infrastructure projects.

This role offers hands-on project experience, structured learning, and national site rotations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hazardous area compliance reviews across sites.
  • Assist in designing and delivering end-of-life electrical system upgrades.
  • Collaborate on electrical protection assessments and arc flash studies.
  • Deliver capital projects like PCS server upgrades, coal unloading system improvements, and I/O enhancements.
  • Participate in modernising legacy systems and strengthening electrical reliability.
  • Work with engineers and stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Rotating through different locations including Railton and Gladstone.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed or near completion of a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Interest in complex infrastructure projects and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
