Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and mentoring to the planning team, as well as offer professional planning advice in statutory and strategic planning.

This role involves contributing to business goals by leading a team of urban planners, ensuring correct staffing levels and resourcing of projects, maintaining high engagement with team members, and collaborating with partner team leads across other disciplines to achieve project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW, and demonstrate expertise in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.

This is a great opportunity to work on a broad variety of projects, including land development, infrastructure, and strategic planning projects across New South Wales.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a consultancy environment or similar.
  • Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
