Urban Planning Director Role

This position involves leading a team of professionals to provide strategic direction and guidance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in urban planning, data analysis, and report writing, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Urban Planners to ensure optimal staffing levels and resource allocation for projects
  • Maintain high engagement with team members and collaborate with other Team Leads across disciplines
  • Develop and implement project strategies, including identifying business needs and resource requirements
  • Manage or assist with the preparation of planning documents, reports, and submissions on behalf of clients
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in consultancy or similar environment
  • Proficiency in research, data analysis, and report writing
  • Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably in NSW
