Electoral Integrity through Agile Delivery

The Australian Electoral Commission maintains an impartial electoral system for eligible voters, prioritizing quality, agility, and professionalism in our operations.

Data Platforms Team

We are a team within the Enterprise Transformation Branch, responsible for designing, building, and implementing end-to-end data capabilities for the Indigo Project. Our solutions include Master Data Management, Datamart/Data Warehousing, Analytics, Machine Learning, and Geospatial services.

Leadership Opportunity

We seek an experienced leader to guide our team to success. This role will work closely with the Election Systems Modernisation program (Indigo) to define the landscape for new systems and processes.

The successful candidate will have:

- Proven experience in agile environments, leading product development as a Product Owner.

- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to review and document business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and frame solutions.

- Strong networking skills, enabling collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Technical background in software development or web technologies.

Eligibility Requirements

AEC employees must be Australian citizens. Applicants must consent to and undergo character clearance and security checks.
