About the Role

The eHealth Test Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of eHealth systems by conducting thorough testing and analysis. Working closely with the eHealth Test and Release Lead, the Test Analyst will design, execute, and document test cases for eHealth applications and systems, identify defects, and collaborate with solution teams to resolve issues. This role involves validating system changes, enhancements, and new releases to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tester to join Eastern Health's eHealth team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure eHealth systems meet requirements and standards
  • Identify and report defects, collaborating with solution teams to resolve issues and improve system performance
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases and scripts
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of eHealth systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a testing or similar role in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Knowledge of Oracle Health Solutions (PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, SurgiNet Anaesthesia, Device Integration, ICU and Care Delivery) and Patient Administration Systems (e.g. iPM) or other similar Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Experience using software to manage test plans and execution
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Health discipline, Information Technology, or Information Management, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
