About the role

The eHealth Team supports the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as part of the Eastern Health ICT Strategy entitled “Great Digital Information - Transforming Health Care into Great Health and Wellbeing”

The role of eHealth Project Team Lead is to manage a team of analysts and oversees software build, development and maintenance of functional specifications, software releases, testing and defect resolution and to be an e xpert source of advice for Oracle Health Solutions.

In addition to routine duties, the role will play a pivotal role in project initiatives, particularly in rolling out EMR to paper-based areas, ensuring smooth integration and effective adoption by transitioning departments.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Experience in staff supervision or managing a team

A demonstrated record of achievement in supporting clinical information systems or experience in working in complex healthcare or hospital setting.

Project Management understanding and experience

Previous experience in implementing a clinical information system

Experience in back-end build tools to support a clinical information system.

**Ability to manage multiple tasks with ease and efficiency**: Skills in prioritisation, problem solving, organization, decision-making, time management, and planning

High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project to produce professional documentation and presentations

Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and logical and effective manner.

Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent tasks and adapt to changes in the work environment.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health discipline, Information Technology, Information Management or equivalent work experience

Experience in using software to manage test plans and execution

Ability to seek advice and direction from technical experts

Excellent Team player

Self-motivated and able to work without supervision

Current valid Driver’s License
