Agricultural Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Farm Manager to lead our farming operations in Central Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving productivity, managing personnel, and implementing efficient irrigation schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise farm personnel, ensuring compliance with WH&S obligations
Develop and implement effective pest and disease control measures, as well as fertiliser application strategies
Collaborate with the General Manager, Farms to achieve business objectives
Requirements
Proven experience in agriculture and farm management
Strong people management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff
Knowledge of irrigation systems and water use efficiency
Qualifications including a current drivers' licence, first aid certificate, and HR truck licence are desirable
What We Offer
A competitive remuneration package, including salary, superannuation, car, computer, and phone. An on-farm 4-bedroom house is available rent-free for the first 12 months. A discretionary bonus is payable depending on company performance.
