Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our Antenatal and Postnatal inpatient wards. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role:

  • Permanent Full-time/Part-time positions available
  • Opportunities to work across the scope of midwifery practice
  • Exposure to a wide variety of clinical scenarios and opportunities to care for some of the most complex, high-risk pregnancies and births in Victoria
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities with dedicated educational resources in a supportive environment
  • Onsite lactation consultants to support midwives in day-to-day patient management
  • Maintain a work-life balance working a flexible rotating roster, including AM, PM, and Night Shift options
  • Visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants
  • Salary: $34.03 - $46.86 per hour (based on experience), reflecting the Enterprise Agreement and commensurate with your years of experience

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve
  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Registration as a Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or in the process of obtaining AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of Level 2 RANZCOG or working towards
  • Demonstrated credentialing for newborn discharge examinations or working towards
