An exciting opportunity has arisen in a fast-growing manufacturing company.

  • We are seeking a proactive and good communicator to join our team as a Production & Installation Scheduler.

About the Role

  1. The successful candidate will communicate with customers to arrange site measurements or installations within lead times.
  2. Liaising with the Production Manager regarding product lead times is also an essential aspect of this role.
  3. You will manage installation contractors' workloads, monitor the quality and standards of work, and provide feedback where necessary.
  4. Engaging with customers regarding rectification work and scheduling appropriately is another key responsibility.
  5. Working with Sales / Production and Service / Install teams to deliver work while maintaining high customer service levels is also required.
  6. Reviewing jobs each day and driving completion of work is an important part of this role.
  7. Reviewing all service work and providing feedback to relevant management is also a key responsibility.
  8. Identifying training needs for improved service and implementing them where necessary is an ongoing task.

Requirements

  • Be proactive and a good communicator.
  • A proven relationship builder and problem solver when necessary is required.
  • Extreme customer focus with good computer skills is also essential.
  • Technician scheduling experience is desirable but not essential.
  • High level numeracy and analytical skills are also required.
  • Establish relationships with customers and maintain rapport is crucial.
  • A structured approach with strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Provide solution-based results.
  • Previous experience working with made to order product within the building and construction industry would be advantageous or a willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
