Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager or a junior professional to join our team at Goughrecruitment. This exciting opportunity is with a leading agency located in the heart of Wollongong, offering a manageable portfolio of properties and a supportive department head.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of properties with ample support, ensuring timely and efficient management of rental income and expenses.
  • Tenant and Owner Communication: Send out notices, handle tenant communications, and manage rental arrears in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to tenants and owners, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Lease Management: Negotiate lease renewals and issue breach notices as required, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Property Management Tasks: Assist with ingoings, outgoings, and routine inspections, maintaining accurate records and reporting to management as necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in property management is essential, with a valid Certificate of Registration required.
  • Certification: A valid Certificate of Registration is required, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and best practices.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, strong communication (both written and verbal), and excellent time management and organizational abilities are essential for success in this role.
  • Attributes: Maturity, the ability to work well in a team, and a proactive attitude are highly valued in this position.
