Job Summary

The University of Wollongong is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Student Housing Support Officer. This position is responsible for providing advice and support to students on private accommodation options, navigating the rental market, and ensuring a smooth transition into their new accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the UOW Study Stays platform, connecting students with prospective landlords who have rooms or properties available.
  • Coordinate emergency housing to support students referred by UOW Support Services.
  • Assist in managing the UOW Airport Pickup service.
  • Build a network of referrals and relationships with local agents and accommodation providers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in local real estate/property management.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
