Job Overview

Our team is seeking compassionate individuals to support families in need. As a Behavior Therapist, you'll work hands-on with children (18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment.

  • Apply one-on-one ABA therapy principles to help children with Autism reach their full potential.
  • Support child development through engaging therapeutic activities.
  • Collaborate with a team to optimize treatment, safety, and a positive working experience throughout the center.

Key Responsibilities:

Treating Children with ABA Therapy

You'll apply ABA therapy principles by:

  • Reading treatment plans and program descriptions.
  • Implementing treatment in line with written descriptions.
  • Collecting data.
  • Writing insurance notes.
  • Implementing feedback provided by supervisors during observation sessions.

Engaging Children Through Play

You'll engage children through play, movement, and imitation, including running, dancing, singing songs, reading books, watching videos, or playing with toys while maintaining energy and enthusiasm.

Collaborating with Stakeholders

You'll effectively communicate with stakeholders (peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for personal needs.

Requirements
  • Lift and move with children in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, move on the floor, and run to stay engaged and maintain safety.
  • Maintain a therapy environment; keep play spaces tidy and organized.
  • Support teams by working cohesively as a center and region; travel to nearby centers when assigned.
