Specialist Education Opportunities

At our new school, we are seeking an experienced specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a tailored learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students on the autism spectrum.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in autism and specialist education approaches. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disabilities and will possess strong communication skills.

The selected candidate will work closely with our team of professionals, including our school psychologist, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to develop and deliver quality learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individual Plans for students
  • Work closely with other professionals to develop and deliver quality learning programs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disabilities (desirable)
  • Certificate III in Education Support or other relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
  • Effective communication skills
  • National Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check required
