As an Autism Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating meaningful employment opportunities for Autistic people. You will draw upon your lived experience as an Autistic person, combined with exceptional communication, writing, and organisational skills, to inform and develop our new Autism Employment service.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to co-design practical tools, resources, and training that support organisations in becoming truly autism-friendly. Your responsibilities will include developing content, leading client projects, and delivering training sessions to drive lasting change in how workplaces support Autistic employees and create better experiences for everyone.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to support organisations in becoming autism-friendly
  • Co-design practical tools and resources to support organisations in employing Autistic people
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Lived experience as an Autistic person
  • Professional experience in HR, advocacy, or co-design achieved in partnership
  • Experience in developing written materials such as guides, tools, and resources that support learning, inclusion, or workplace improvement for diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to travel independently to attend in-person client meetings
  • National Police Clearance
