Job Title

A strategic business development and marketing leader is required to drive growth, strengthen our brand, and expand partnerships in a high performing, values-driven organisation.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement business strategies to expand health services, referral networks, and funding sources.
  • Lead market analysis to guide service innovation, growth, and revenue diversification.
  • Oversee integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for Macquarie University Hospital and Clinics.
  • Strengthen the Macquarie University Health brand and ensure alignment with the University's master brand.
  • Oversee health-related digital platforms, social media, and website content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, referrers, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of business development and marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement business strategies to expand health services, referral networks, and funding sources.
  2. Lead market analysis to guide service innovation, growth, and revenue diversification.

  • Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and balance competing priorities.
  • An established network of clinicians, referrers, vendors, and partners within the healthcare sector.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mission-driven, patient-centred care.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, administration, or health management (or extensive equivalent experience).
