We have been serving people in need for over 160 years, providing care to older individuals and services to vulnerable groups. We are driven by our passion to serve and make a difference in people's lives.
We are seeking a skilled Policy Officer to join our dynamic Legal and Governance team in Norwest. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our non-clinical policies and procedures are up-to-date, reviewed regularly, and aligned with our values.
The role involves developing, maintaining, and reviewing policies and procedures, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to ensure they are fit for purpose. You will also provide administrative and paralegal support, including managing documents under power of attorney and assisting with responses to requests for information.
This is a permanent full-time position with flexible working arrangements available. Consideration will be given to candidates who prefer to work part-time (minimum 4 days a week). We offer a supportive and inclusive environment where you can make a real difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review all Anglicare Non-Clinical Policies and Procedures to ensure they are consistent, written in plain English, and aligned with our values.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain an appropriate platform for governance efficiencies on the intranet.
- Develop and maintain Anglicare's Non-Clinical Policy Register.
- Coordinate the approval process for Non-Clinical Policies and Procedures, including Board approvals as required.
- Work with the Clinical Governance Team to maintain consistency in processes with clinical policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative and paralegal support, including managing documents under power of attorney and assisting with responses to requests for information.
Requirements:
You should have demonstrated experience in a similar role drafting policies and procedures, advanced written communication skills, project management skills, and experience working with technology. Your ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with others is essential.
Why Work with Us?
We are guided by our Vision, Mission, and Values, inspired by the love of Jesus Christ. We offer a range of benefits, including salary packaging, employee wellness programs, and flexible working arrangements. If you share our values and are passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply.
