About the Role

ACC Hobart is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to join our primary school community. The ideal candidate will have relevant teaching qualifications and experience in music education.

The successful applicant will be passionate about impacting students' minds and hearts, providing a safe and supportive learning environment. They will also be highly relational, committed to holistic teaching and student welfare, and keen to collaborate with colleagues in developing and implementing teaching programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Christian formation of students
  • Teach the prescribed music curriculum in a conducive learning environment
  • Develop an approach to education that is biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous

Requirements:

  • A relevant bachelor degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications
  • Relevant experience teaching music
  • A servant heart and vibrant Christian faith
