About this role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary music educator to lead our comprehensive music program as Head of Music, Co-Curricular and Tuition.

This permanent position will commence in January 2026 and includes a Level 8 Responsibility Allowance. The role spans Early Learning to Year 12 and encompasses leadership in curriculum and ensembles, as well as a thriving private tuition program.

The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the future of music at Friends', embedding a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. Working collaboratively across the School, you will lead a dynamic team of staff and tutors, coordinate co-curricular and ensemble activities, and ensure a cohesive and engaging music education experience for all students.
