Job Title: Inventory Manager - Logistics ExpertWe are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Manager to join our Global Logistics function at our Prestons, NSW site. This permanent position is a hands-on role where you will support both client groups and manage inventory operations to ensure service and cost objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for sales, shipping, and delivery.
- Compliance: Review and report on warehouse compliance to meet both customer and company financial and audit expectations.
- Data Management: Utilize data and software to record inventory levels and manage reordering processes.
- Analysis & Coordination: Analyze, plan, and coordinate stock through warehouse functions, ensuring accurate stock reconciliation and reporting.
- Reporting: Generate and present stock reports to both customers and internal management.
- Team Management: Engage and manage the team to foster a positive workplace culture and meet organizational compliance requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and promote an innovative culture.
- Customer Service: Ensure customer expectations are met and managed effectively.
- Experience: 3-5 years in logistics and warehouse management with demonstrated experience in managing warehouse functions and employee bases in a complex industrial setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other office-based technologies.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various hours as required by operational needs.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven ability to build positive employee experiences through effective feedback and engagement.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to technological advancements and changing market dynamics.
