About the Opportunity

The Women's and Children's Health Network seeks a dedicated and caring Allied Health Assistant to join its Physiotherapy Department in Adelaide CBD. This full-time term contract role, available until 8 November 2025, offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for patient care activities, ensuring efficient service delivery in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Assist Physiotherapists with direct patient care, including interventions for women's health patients and paediatric patients with neurological, respiratory, and orthopaedic conditions.
  • Routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality is also required.

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • High levels of professionalism and effective communication skills are necessary for successful collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for manual handling of patients and equipment are required.
