Job Description

At Central Adelaide Local Health Network, we are seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Director to lead our physiotherapy team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing clinical support, team management, and policy development within the physiotherapy department. They will work closely with senior leaders to ensure alignment with best practices and service standards across the CALHN network.

This dynamic role requires a strong leader who can foster a collaborative culture and provide strategic advice on workforce planning and development. The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership roles, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.

As the Physiotherapy Director, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of physiotherapy services at Central Adelaide Local Health Network and make a positive impact on the lives of patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the physiotherapy team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices and service standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop strategic plans and priorities for the physiotherapy department.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members to enhance their professional development and practice.
Requirements
  • A degree in Physiotherapy with registration by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Proven leadership experience in physiotherapy, including developing policies and educational programs.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality improvement, WHS principles, and budgetary processes.
