Head of Unit, Women's Health Physiotherapy

A dynamic leadership opportunity exists within our esteemed network to spearhead the Women's Health Physiotherapy Unit. As a specialist clinician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care for obstetric and gynecological patients.

About the Opportunity
  • Serve as a Specialist Clinician: Utilize your expertise to provide physiotherapy management for obstetric and gynecological patients within the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN).
  • Day-to-Day Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight of the Women's Health Physiotherapy Unit, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Service Development: Develop, coordinate, and implement obstetric and gynecological physiotherapy services for women, promoting excellence in patient outcomes.
  • Accountability: Ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and optimal care for patients, adhering to the highest standards of clinical practice.
About You
  • Qualifications and Experience: Possess an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, and experience working within an acute setting in the management of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to lead a team, and foster good working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Team Coordination and Supervision: Showcase experience in coordinating workloads for a team, supervising staff, and teaching students.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: A salary range of $104,180 to $111,746, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
  • Relocation Support: Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
