We are seeking an experienced physiotherapy leader to join our team as the Manager, Physiotherapy. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide you with the opportunity to shape the future of physiotherapy services in South Australia.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of physiotherapy services, including governance, education, professional development, and research initiatives. You will work closely with Allied Health Directors, Clinical Directorates, and other stakeholders to foster flexible, responsive, and innovative services.
This role requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. You will also need to have a deep understanding of quality improvement principles, WHS requirements, and budgetary processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the physiotherapy team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care
- Develop and implement policies and standards of practice
- Provide critical consultancy to ensure alignment with best practices and service standards across the CALHN network
- Oversee various aspects of physiotherapy services, including governance, education, professional development, and research initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster flexible, responsive, and innovative services
