- This role plays an integral part in allied health leadership, working closely with physiotherapists to deliver high-quality patient-centred care.
Responsibilities include clinical support, team management, and developing policies and standards of practice. You will represent physiotherapy within government and non-government sectors, providing consultancy to ensure alignment with best practices and service standards across CALHN.
">In this dynamic role, you will oversee governance, education, professional development, and research initiatives. You will collaborate with Allied Health Directors, Clinical Directorates, and other stakeholders to foster flexible and responsive services.
">You will contribute strategic advice on workforce planning and development to advance clinical practices and service offerings. Balancing these responsibilities, you may also carry a complex clinical caseload as needed.
">About You
">We're looking for an experienced physiotherapy leader with skills in clinical practice, communication, and team collaboration. To excel in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A degree in Physiotherapy with registration by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.">
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience within physiotherapy, including developing policies and educational programs.">
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.">
- In-depth knowledge of quality improvement, WHS principles, and budgetary processes, with experience in policy application and project management.">
