Job Summary
The Digital Transformation Director, Biotech Commercialization will report directly to the Vice President, Information Technology. This key role involves overseeing the implementation and delivery of business systems and digital products across all business functions, including R&D, Clinical, Legal, Portfolio Management, HR, Finance, Commercial, Manufacturing, Medical, Regulatory, and Quality. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment and effective system deployment, setting the stage for a successful product launch.

Main Responsibilities
This strategic position requires a comprehensive IT strategy for Vera's commercialization operations, aligning with the company's OKRs. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing an enterprise-wide IT strategy, ensuring synergy between business functions and digital initiatives.
  • Collaborating with business and IT functions to develop and manage the overall Enterprise business application strategy.
  • Maintaining Systems Roadmap and Digital Landscape documents, providing a clear roadmap for future endeavors.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity in IT systems and processes.

Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess a minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in leadership positions within the biotech sector. Strong leadership, mentorship, and project management skills are essential. Additionally, subject matter expertise relevant to commercialization business processes and experience working in regulated environments covering GxP, SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA are highly valued. We seek a well-organized individual with strong attention to detail, capable of communicating complex problems effectively and navigating multiple platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, and ERP solutions.

Estimated Salary Range
$180,000 - $220,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
