About the OpportunityThis exciting position is centered around providing strategic land use planning services that protect business interests and enhance water infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on region structure plans, district structure plans, and local structure plans to ensure water services are available for rezoning through integrated land-use and water servicing decisions.
- Provide input into town planning schemes, region schemes, asset planning, and investment decisions.
- System development and process improvement activities for business unit work support systems.
- Assist internal and external stakeholders on land planning strategies, programmes, and detailed action plans.
- Degree qualified in town planning or diploma qualified in engineering.
- Demonstrated capability of investigating, assessing, and processing land use planning proposals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of land use planning legislation, policies, and practices in Western Australia and the water industry.
- Flexible working arrangements with options to work from home, 9-day fortnight, flexible work hours.
