Our company is shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to support our mining operations team.

This pivotal role reports to the Senior Mining Engineer and operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. Based at Northern Operations, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated mining professional with 2+ years of experience in a Production Engineering role and a strong interest in transitioning into planning.

You will play a key role in delivering safe, timely, and accurate plans aligned with production targets and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs for development projects
  • Prepare designs for production use
  • Deliver designs for short- to medium-term planning
  • Complete stope notes and reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing schedules as required
  • Review drilling and blasting plans
  • Produce ventilation models
  • Manage ad hoc projects as directed by the Senior Mining Engineer and UG Manager
  • Identify critical path processes for budgets and weekly plans
  • Mentor junior engineers
What You Will Bring:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in production drill & blast
  • Planning experience is desirable but not essential
  • Exposure to forecasting and budget preparation
  • Familiarity with design software
  • First Class Mine Manager's Certificate (desirable)
