Allied Health Assistant Position

This is a two-year fixed-term role with the potential for nationally recognized certification. The employer will cover all related training expenses as approved.


Role Overview

The Allied Health Assistant will provide support to Allied Health Professionals in delivering therapeutic and rehabilitation services across various disciplines including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, podiatry, and others.


Responsibilities
  • Support Allied Health Professionals in delivering therapeutic and rehabilitation services across disciplines as directed.

About You
  • A valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience working with and empathy towards elderly individuals
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or willingness to undertake the qualification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing training and professional development
  • Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and responsibilities
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence
