Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking Casual Pool Attendants for the 2025/2026 Swimming Pool Season.

Weekly pay cycle

Salary range $ $40.88 per hour (includes casual loading) plus relevant penalties

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position, under direct supervision is responsible for the:

  • supervision of patrons
  • monitoring and testing of pool water quality, plant and equipment
  • cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment

ABOUT YOU

Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:

The criteria marked with a * is a requirement applicants must have prior to any offer of employment. Council is willing to assist with the fees associated with obtaining these qualifications.

  • Possession of Pool Lifeguard Licence and/or Statement of Attainment in Aquatic Management and/or equivalent/work related experience*
  • Must be 16 (sixteen) years of age*
  • Senior First Aid Certificate*
  • Working with Children Check*
  • Criminal Record Check*
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of WHS in an aquatic environment
