At Lactalis Australia, we are seeking a skilled professional to lead our ICT Infrastructure team in delivering exceptional IT infrastructure services and systems.

The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of both on-premises and cloud systems, including servers, networks, storage, backups, and data centers.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, with 7+ years of experience in systems administration, ideally supported by a Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Infrastructure Management: Ensures the smooth operation of both on-premises and cloud systems, including servers, networks, storage, backups, and data centers.
  • Team Leadership & Staff Development: Leads and supports the ICT Infrastructure team by managing workloads, mentoring staff, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Projects and System Change: Sponsors and provides technical leadership for infrastructure projects from planning to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and business goals.
  • Security & Compliance: Works with the Cyber Security team to identify and address potential security risks in the infrastructure, systems, and processes under their control.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Acts as the escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring quick resolution and thorough root cause analysis.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to provide strategic input into ICT strategy, identifying trends and recommending new technologies that enhance performance, efficiency, or scalability.
