Sales Development Specialist

As a Sales Development Specialist , you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. This vital position emphasizes nurturing and expanding RWDI's client relationships across various regions. The Sales Development Specialist will work closely with internal teams to identify and seize new opportunities. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship management, and a focus on promoting our expertise in building sciences, environmental engineering, and climate engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Engaging with new and potential clients to introduce them to RWDI's innovative range of environmental and performance engineering services – services designed to enhance and transform their projects and the environment. Researching and identifying emerging markets and opportunities in sustainability and performance engineering. Creating opportunities to discuss and promote RWDI's specialized services and our unique value proposition. Coordinating resources, collaborating with our marketing, project management, and technical teams to support business development initiatives and face-to-face meetings. Managing and participating in events that connect our team with clients and prospects, supporting presentations ranging from casual social gatherings to technical discussions led by our experts at international conferences. Attend a variety of networking events representing the RWDI brand.
Following up on events - compiling notes and summarizing meetings and trips, including tracking in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and synthesizing this information into actionable business development strategies.
Maintaining client relationships through regular communication and support, monitoring proposal activities by client and key relationships to identify those with the highest potential for future growth.
Collaborating with our Strategic Directors and Marketing Communications team to enhance our regional marketing materials.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a marketing or business development capacity. Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, organizational, and analytical abilities. Proven ability to fulfill commitments and exceed expectations. Strong oral and written communication skills. Flexibility to work varied hours to meet tight deadlines and accommodate clients and colleagues across different time zones. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel. Experience in graphic design production is advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary Range – $85,000 TO $95,000 AUD
